Curious History:  Real People, Not Paintings; 3-D Art illusions

These look like paintings but they aren’t. They are real people that are body-painted in such a way that they look as if they were acrylic masterpieces. These incredible works are by Alexa Meade. The illusion works best when you see the installation up-close.

About:

'Mothy
19, Sheffield, UK.

I have a desire to share with you everything, and only my self to do it with.

eating colours like jaundice.

"I am a cage, in search of a bird."
-Franz Kafka

It has occurred to me to classify myself as a blog, so I mostly reblog images with colours, contrasts and shapes that interest me as the bulk of my main queue with the odd funny thing when I see it. I am also passionate about film, photography, illustration, music, theatre, literature, typography and other forms of art and entertainment in addition to fencing, sword arts and other sports which will doubtless find their way into my posts. I also use this space for personal things which i will usually attribute with a "Read More" tag to keep them seperate, though I rarely write much and will never intentionally post anything triggering, harmful or offensive.

tl;dr:

a colour blog w/foam.

Have a look through some of my most frequent tags.
